The Cuisine

The team at Embla are inspired by the new Nordic Cuisine, a culinary movement that focus on local, natural & seasonal produce.

The philosophy of Swedish gastronomy that puts a close connection between the chefs and the farmers are something we implement on a daily basis. 

We source our produce from regions that aims to incorporate environmental, wellbeing & ethical production into its practice.

The Cuisine at Embla utilize cooking methods from different cultures. Especially highlighting the nordic region with its dramatic difference in seasons to create a multi- sensory experience from Spring, Summer, Fall, to Winter.

DIETARY PREFERENCE:

Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary requirements when making your reservation and we will do our best to accommodate. Please note that Embla unfortunately does not serve a vegan option at this stage.

CORKAGE POLICY:

We have an extensive wine list at embla that offers a constantly evolving collection of over 200 bottles. Our wine cellar includes some of the most interesting and soulful wines in the world, all priced carefully and reasonably.

If you have a special bottle you want to share at Embla, and it's not on our list, we will be happy to offer you our space, glassware and service on the following conditions:
-500 HKD corkage fee per standard 750ml bottle of wine.
-Maximum one bottle for up 2 guests or two bottles for a group of 3 guests and above.
-350 HKD if you purchase a bottle from our wine selection.
